Sprinkler system for 9 skyscrapers, cast in concrete We installed sprinkler fire extinguishing systems in several skyscrapers in Vienna. Since in mass-temperature controlled tower blocks it is not possible to install a false ceiling due to the operation of the temperature control system, the sprinkler pipe system was installed in the concrete slab. This presented rather different logistical and work organisational challenges. The pipe system embedded in the concrete required innovative technical, documentation and quality assurance procedures.
